Free. Forever. The whole product.
SysFlint AD costs nothing. Not free-for-25-objects, not free-for-30-days, not free-until-you-need-the-useful-report. The entire product, with every report, on every domain in your forest, for as long as you want to run it.

- CSV and PDF export
- Product updates
What it does not include
Listed here rather than discovered later. If any of these are requirements, a commercial auditing platform is a more honest recommendation.
- No contractual support SLA — questions are answered on a best-effort basis
- No real-time change alerting; this is point-in-time reporting, diffed between runs
- No auditing outside Active Directory — no file servers, Exchange, or cloud directories
- No hosted or cloud version; it runs on your hardware by design
Why is it free?
Because the alternative most teams pick is nothing. Active Directory account hygiene is a problem almost everyone has and almost nobody has a budget line for — so it gets done with a script once a year, or not at all. A license quote is not what stands between most teams and a monthly privileged-access report.
It is also the first product SysFlint has released, and it does one focused job. It is not a change-auditing platform, it has no support contract behind it, and it does not try to be either of those things. Charging for it would mean promising things it does not promise.
Free forever means what it says: no license key that expires, no object count that trips an upgrade prompt, and no report held back for a paid edition that does not exist.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a paid tier?
- No. There is one version of SysFlint AD and it is free. Future SysFlint products may be commercial; this one stays free.
- Do I need to create an account or provide an email?
- No account, no registration wall, no license key to request. Download it and run it.
- Is it free for commercial use?
- Yes — including in enterprises, MSPs, and consultancies auditing client environments. The license terms ship with the installer.
- What is the catch?
- That it does one thing. It reports on Active Directory account state and privileged access, on-premises, on a schedule. It does not do real-time change auditing, it does not cover systems outside AD, and it comes with best-effort rather than contractual support.
- Will you start charging later?
- No. Anything that becomes commercial would be a separate product with its own name, not a paywall added to this one.
- Is my data used or sold in exchange for it being free?
- No. The product runs entirely inside your network and sends no directory data anywhere — there is no data flowing to SysFlint to monetize, by design.
